How does the DNA NutriGen™ Test work?
The NutriGen™ Test, available at Vie Aesthetics, helps us personalise your nutrition plan. This innovative genetic test helps us identify specific areas of your diet and nutrients intake that may be affecting you. The test is used to produce a personalised diet plan by identifying specific areas of concern that contribute towards a range of health conditions and weight gain. It analyses over 384 genetic variations in relation to weight loss, response to exercise, intolerances and metabolism of nutrients. The test uses your own DNA alongside a comprehensive questionnaire to evaluate both genetic and environmental factors that affect your metabolism and body weight.
What happens during the DNA NutriGen™ Test?
Step 1: During your initial Consultation you discuss your concerns regarding weight management and existing nutrition. A comprehensive lifestyle and medical quetionnaire is being used.
Step 2: Buccal Swab Test taken (saliva Test)
Step 3: Patient Questionnaire is completed.
Step 4: The DNA Sample is analysed at the Fagron Lab
Step 5: 4-5 weeks later a Comprehensive Report is returned
Step 6: During your second appointment you discuss the report, receive your own copy and design your personalised nutrition plan and any further lifetyle and activity suggestions based on your report.
