What Are Skin Tags?
Skin tags are soft, benign growths made of collagen and blood vessels. They often appear in areas of friction (e.g. underarms, neck, eyelids, groin) and can be removed safely for cosmetic or comfort reasons.
Your Removal Options
At Vie Aesthetics, we offer two methods for skin tag removal:
CryoPen uses a fine jet of nitrous oxide to freeze the skin tag. This causes it to blister and fall off naturally over the course of a few days. It’s especially suitable for small to medium-sized tags on areas like the neck, arms, torso or legs.
PlexR Plasma applies a focused arc of plasma energy to gently sublimate the tag — drying and detaching it with precision. This method is ideal for more delicate or visible areas, such as the eyelids, underarms, chest or face.
Your doctor will assess your skin during your consultation and recommend the most effective option for your skin type and the location of the tags.

Treatment-
For CryoPen, the tag is frozen in seconds.
For PlexR, a fine plasma arc removes the tag with pinpoint accuracy.
Numbing cream may be used for comfort.
Healing
The area crusts or blisters slightly and heals naturally in 7–10 days. Treated tags do not usually grow back.
